BERA® Urbanscape is an innovative and easy-to-install product that provides additional storage for water and nutrients, designed for green roofs, private gardens, sports fields, businesses, cemeteries, public parks, and many other green locations.

The product is made entirely of natural material. BERA Urbanscape ensures excellent water storage and release according to the needs of the vegetation in a wide variety of applications for (roof) gardens and landscapes.
BERA® Urbanscape
BERA Urbanscape is frequently used on green roofs, beneath the sedum, to buffer additional rainwater while still achieving a lightweight green roof. Urbanscape in the form of cubes or flakes is available to improve the substrate for increased air and water capacity. This enhances the growth and resilience of the planting during dry periods.
How does it work?
- Natural rock wool fibers provide capillary action and retain water and nutrients
- Water does not evaporate and does not run off unused; the roots absorb it easily.
- Planting, sedum, or grass absorb water as needed, ensuring optimal humidity and thus better growth of the roots and the plant itself.
- Easy to process in, for example, borders, under a green roof, or in planters and vegetable garden boxes
